One of our newest building partners is the East Lake Recovery Drop-in Center. This unique ministry walks alongside individuals in their journey of recovery and provides guidance and resources of many kinds.
The Drop-in Center also partners with Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) to provide medical care (including mental health and dental care) to people in our community regardless of language, culture, or financial barriers. The ARMS Mobile Health Unit is parked in our parking lot each 3rd Monday of the month starting at 9am.
You can learn more about or contact the Drop-in Center by visiting their website or Facebook page.
If you are interested in supporting the work of our Drop-in Center, you can reach out to them about volunteering or donate items like these to their Wellness Pantry and Clothes Closet:
- Socks (new or gently used)
- Warm winter clothes, gloves, hats, and blankets (new or gently used)
- Toothpaste
- Body soap
You can drop off donation items at the church office during the week or at church on Sundays. Click here for more information!
