By definition, an initiative is “an act or strategy intended to resolve a difficulty or improve a situation; a fresh approach to something.” There are several people and groups dedicated to improving mental health in the East Lake area, and YOU are invited to take part!
East Lake Mental Health Initiative (ELMHI) is a movement that is committed to offering and expanding opportunities for support, conversation, education, and care. You can take part in and/or support different things that fall under this umbrella such as:
- Grief Support Group (see below for current meeting information)
- Quarterly Workshops
- Recovery Drop-in Center
Flyers below highlight both current/upcoming offerings and past examples. Check our Facebook page, Chimes newsletters, or contact us for updates about what exactly is coming up so you can mark your calendar for what fits you!
